Hello, my name is Ms. Anabel, the creator of the Step by Step English 4 Young Kids program. I am a native English speaker from Toronto, ON.

I have a background in AMI Montessori education and over 17 years of experience teaching young children how to read and write, both in person and online. I specialise in helping young learners build strong foundations in English at a pace that feels comfortable and encouraging.

I believe that every child has the potential to become a confident reader. My teaching approach blends phonics with Montessori-inspired techniques, allowing children to build a solid foundation in English that empowers them to decode new words and develop their love for learning.

I have worked with children from many backgrounds, and I know that learning is most effective when it’s tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. I work to nurture and guide each child, providing lessons that are engaging, supportive, and fun. My program has given clarity to many children who have come to me confused. As a result, my students make consistent progress, develop a positive attitude toward learning, and feel proud of their achievements, whether they are learning one-on-one or in pairs.

Whether your child is just starting to read or needs extra guidance to improve their skills, I’m here to help them grow at their own pace, build confidence, and unlock their full potential. My step-by-step approach ensures they receive the right guidance at the right time, setting them up for long-term success.

I truly love working with kids. My greatest reward is seeing the joy and pride on a child’s face when something finally clicks and they realise, “I can do this!”
