Assessments and Lesson Planning

  • No, there are no registration fees. You only pay for the lessons that are scheduled, and if you choose not to register your child, there will be a fee for the assessment in the amount of a one-on-one lesson.

  • Yes, you will receive a receipt each year, detailing the tuition and HST paid. Receipts are sent out every February for the previous year.

  • It’s easy to get started! Simply contact me directly through the website, and I will guide you through the registration process, answer any questions, and help you schedule your child’s assessment.

  • No lessons are held on program closures or statutory holidays, and you are not charged for these days. You will receive a yearly calendar with important dates, so you always know what to expect.

  • Yes! I offer online tutoring for children all across Canada. Whether you're in St John’s, Toronto, Vancouver, or anywhere in between, your child can access high-quality tutoring from the comfort of your home.

  • I work with families across all time zones. After you register, we’ll find a lesson time that works well for your family, no matter where you are in Canada.

  • Many of my students are learning English as a second language (ESL/EAL). Lessons are taught at a comfortable pace with clear explanations and plenty of encouragement. If your child is just starting to learn English, an interpreter (like a parent or sibling) may be needed to help until they build enough English language skills.

  • Yes, I work with families from different countries. Since all lessons are conducted online, children can learn from anywhere, as long as the time zones align. One of the biggest benefits is that your child gets to learn from a native English speaker, helping them improve their pronunciation and enunciation.
